Eryk was working as a Graphic Artist before he responded to God's call together with his family in 2003, that was when both Eryk and Josie received a word from the Lord in Genesis 12:1-3 "The Call of Abraham".
He was a staff member at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the Discipleship Training School (DTS) from 2003 to 2006. He also pioneered YWAM Batangas-Philippines and served as the base leader there from 2007-2017. He is a graphic designer, ventriloquist, and also loves to create something new out of raw materials. God has given him a gift and a talent to create handmade musical instruments - Bamboo Flutes, Bamboo Saxophones, Bamboo Ukulele, Wood Ukulele, Cajon (Beatbox). These musical instruments have become his tools to encourage and share God's love to people. This is also where he gets support for his family and to be a blessing to their community.
His family just moved to Thailand September 2018. They are now currently enrolled in the School Of Frontier Mission (SOFM) Changmai to learn about the language and culture of Thai while continuing his musical instrument making.
Eryk's Vision for Northeast Thailand:
To partner with local communities and other mission organizations in building God-fearing, strong and healthy family and individuals through trainings and workshops. To create micro-enterprise opportunities that would cater individuals from the community and provide livelihood for them. To create different crafts and musical instruments from materials available from their area which they can use to develop their skills and help provide for their family; all the while using it as a tool for evangelism and discipleship.
